சீர்மிகு நகரத்திற்க்கான CITIIS 2.O போட்டியில் தஞ்சாவூர் மாநகராட்சி பங்கெடுத்து இந்திய அளவில் தேர்வான 18 மாநகரங்களில் தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து ஓர் மாநகராட்சியாக தஞ்சாவூர் மாநகராட்சி கடும் போட்டிக்கிடையே வெற்றிபெற்றுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் ரூ 135 கோடி மதிப்பில் ஒருங்கிணைந்த திடக்கழிவு மேலாண்மை திட்டம் தஞ்சாவூர் மாநகராட்சியில் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குள் “பசுமை தஞ்சை” உதயமாகும் இந்த முடிவுகளை இன்று சீர்மிகு நகரத்தின் தலைமையகம் அதிகாரபூர்வமாக அறிவித்தது.
